Custom Painted Gundam 1/144 scale HeavyArms part 2

As I have mention in the last post  I did really like this build. I did not like how this came out. I would not really like to display this gundam. That is why I used this for a painting experiment.

I had problems from the very start. I used spray can white, The can said it was a primer but it do not cover the red bit, It just made them pink. I want make into a white and blue colors, that is why i want everything to be white and  would hand paint the blue. After using all my white and it still looked pink. I pretty much gave up on this model. I painted the colors on the box.

The paneling did not look that good. When I finish this model I gave it my kids to have fun with it. I guess this is one of those teaching moments.

 I have only started making models. a Gundam 1/144 scale HeavyArms  and this one was a very cheap one. I build easily. The only complaint was that it was very small and it did not want to stay together. The arms and other little bits keep falling off. I did not have as much fun build this one as others.

Old Lego compable project

I found these old photo of a Lego type car. I think it is a china toy company type i got on eBay. It was not too hard to put together. The only thing I remember about this model was that once you link the block they are almost impossible  to seperate them. I think I lost a few fingure nails trying.

Also I really like they old wagon wheels on this car. I don't have this car any more. I was hard for me to take it, but apart my kids had no problem destroying the car. I have found the wheels in my kids Lego piles.

LEGO Star Wars Snowspeeder build

I forgot to write this review. BUT .....

I started doing this Lego like I did before, my hands would be in the video building. After doing a few step. Mainly after I finished the pilot.  I thought would it be fun if he built his ship and I filmed it. This was a very easy model to build and I started the Stop motion part. I am pleased how it came out. The only thing I would change is that I would take more pictures for the blog.  This only took about two hours to do and it would have been shorter but I was trying to figure out how to work the stop motion app. I could not imagine doing a large project.

I know it is not perfect it has my legs in some of the video and my arms too. As it seems a good start and I plan to do more of these in the future. I think I really like doing stop motion.

North American Mustang IV Starter Set 1:72 build and paint
I bought this kit  long time ago opened took every thing out and put away. I lost the decals and could not find instructions. That is why you see me struggling to put it together. I ended up following the box.

I did not like this model. I know it was because I did not have the instructions. The painting was not as good as i liked it to be, but i am still learning.
